RSA Online Course – Virtual Training for Responsible Service of Alcohol

Accredited Online RSA Training Approved by Liquor Control Victoria

For those who are unable to attend our CBD campus, delivery of the RSA course is also conducted through a virtual classroom. This online course has been approved by Liquor Control Victoria (LCV).

To undertake this training, you will require the following:

  • A computing device with sound, a microphone, and a webcam. This can include a desktop, laptop, smart phone, or tablet.
  • Photo Identification

 

IMPORTANT UPDATE

As of 01 December 2025, in Victoria, you need an RSA Certificate of Completion to work in many licensed venues. To receive your RSA Certificate of Completion, you must complete the following:

  • Complete an LCV-approved RSA course with Complete Hospitality Training
  • Complete the Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond (additional online module) with LCV directly.

What You Need to Start Your Online RSA Course

Entrance Requirements No minimum age requirement
(Anyone can complete the RSA training, however, you must be over 18 to serve alcohol)
Ability to read, write, and understand English to ensure successful completion
(If you require a translator or interpreter to assist you, please note that you must enrol in our face-to-face RSA course.)

Liquor Control Victoria approved certificate
To gain your Liquor Control Victoria approved certificate you will be required to complete an additional online module through Liquor Control Victoria.

Assessment Written assessments completed online and skills demonstrations.
