Bartending Course Details

Complete Hospitality Training’s (CHT’s) Melbourne bartending course will equip you with the skills and the confidence you need to get that bar job you have been looking for. The course will cover everything you need to know, from pouring beers to tapping kegs to making cocktails and providing outstanding customer service.

Our bartending course also includes your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate which is the only qualification you need to legally serve alcohol in Victoria.

Pre-requisites There are no pre-requisite units for this course.
Duration Our Bartending Course has day and evening options. Daytime option = 4 sessions. Evening option = 8 sessions.

Certification On successful completion of the course, you will be issued with a Liquor Control Victoria approved certificate - Responsible Service of Alcohol, the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment SITHFAB021 - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol and a Certificate of Participation.
Assessment Written assessment and a skills demonstration.

Entrance Requirements / Pre-requisites

  • Learners must be 17 years of age and over at the time of course commencement.
  • There are no pre-requisite units for this course.

Government funding is not available for the standalone Bartending course; however, you might want to consider doing our Government funded* Certificate IV in Hospitality (SIT40422), which includes Bartending amongst other subjects.

If you are an Australian citizen (or permanent resident) you may be eligible for this subsidised course.
