The RSG Melbourne (Responsible Service of Gaming) course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to work in any venue with a gaming area. The course also prepares learners to help customers at risk of harm from gambling.
RSG training and certification is a requirement for gaming staff in Victoria. But the gaming industry across Australia is thriving, with many venues now operating 24-hours a day. Anyone who completes this course successfully with find no shortage of job opportunities with flexible hours.
On successful completion of the course, learners will be issued with the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment
SITHGAM022 - Provide Responsible Gambling Services
CHT does not currently offer Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) training. In Victoria, the first module is delivered online and must be completed within one month of an individual starting to work in a gaming venue. It can also be completed before starting to work in a gaming venue. The second module is face-to-face via videoconferencing or in a gaming venue and must be completed within six months of starting to work in a gaming venue. Refresher training for Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) must be completed every three years. The initial and refresher training are provided free of charge.
